Types of Checking Available

Regular Checking

Our regular checking account is the perfect solution to pay bills and make other purchases when cash isn’t available. Open a new account with a minimum of $100.00 and you’re ready to write checks (a small fee for printing your checks will be deducted from your account). And, if you maintain a minimum of $500.00 in your account, you can avoid the monthly $6.00 service charge.

Val-You Club Checking

Available to everyone, Val-You Club Checking works like our Regular Checking but provides the security of a basic accidental insurance plan along with the convenience of First Jackson Bank checking service. Also included are Cash Back Member Rewards, Credit File Monitoring, and Safe Deposit Box Discount all for $8.00 per month for individuals. See your local branch for details.

Student Checking

If you are a student, you qualify for First Jackson Bank’s Student Checking Account. This account encourages youth to save and teaches the basics of responsible banking. It works just like our Regular Checking but there are NO monthly maintenance fees regardless of your balance. You will also receive free personalized checks.

Senior Neighbor Checking

If you are 62 or over, you qualify for First Jackson Bank’s Senior Neighbor Checking Account. This account works just like our Regular Checking but there are NO monthly maintenance fees regardless of your balance. You will also receive free personalized checks.

Interest Bearing Checking

Now you can have the convenience of a checking account with the benefits of an interest bearing savings account. First Jackson Bank offers these different types of interest bearing checking accounts. See the table below for details.
