Debit Cards

First Jackson Bank offers debit cards with checking accounts. The FJB debit card can be used to make purchases at thousands of locations nationwide. There is no check to write and the amount is deducted from your checking account. You will get a receipt for your records and see the transactions detailed on your monthly checking account statement. FJB debit cards provide 24-hour cash access and a simpler way to pay for purchases you make every day. First Jackson Bank can provide a debit card with your checking account for an additional monthly fee.

PREMIUM TEXTING……..All FJB cardholders will automatically be enrolled in Premium Text Alerts from our Card Company to verify suspicious transactions done on your debit card.  If the Card Company creates a case in which a transaction needs to be verified, then a text message will be sent to the cardholder.  The message will give First Jackson Bank’s Name, the name of the Merchant and the last 4 digits of the card number.  Cardholder must respond for the transaction to complete.  If no response, a phone call will be made to verify the transaction.  If still no response, the card may possibly be restricted until verification is obtained.

CARD VALET…..First Jackson Bank now offers a Mobile APP that allows you to control certain features of your debit card:  Turn card off and on, Establish card transaction limits (Within limits set by Bank), Schedule alerts for specific transaction types, Restrict card usage based on merchant type or Set location-based controls (Within AL, TN, GA and FL).   First step is to download the Mobile APP (CARD VALET).  Then create a user profile and password.  Register your First Jackson Bank debit card and you are ready to set alerts and limits.
